We created Monty’s Property Services to give home owners in the Daylesford-Hepburn Springs area peace of mind in relation to improving and maintaining the outside presentation of their property.

Our speciality is garden improvement – we can help you with garden design, planting, installing raised garden beds and irrigation systems; removal of existing plants and small trees and additional outdoor elements like stepping stones or fire pit areas. These projects range from quick ‘makeovers’ to a complete redesign of existing areas. Take a look at some before and after shots for one of our recent projects below:

When creating a garden design we provide you with a site plan (example) and renderings (example) so you can visualise what your new garden will look like. You also get a plant list (with images), sample images of design elements (like a fire pit, water feature or pergola) and approximate costs of labour, plants and materials. We will talk you through the design and iterate based on your feedback.

Our garden maintenance services include lawn mowing (both hand mower and ride-on), hedge trimming, pruning trees/bushes, weeding garden beds, mulching, removing debris and leaves, removing blackberries/holly/ivy and other weeds and cutting small trees/branches. We take all green waste away to the local transfer station (additional charges apply).

Everything is done in coordination with the owners and/or the booking manager in case you are renting your property out to guests. We will keep you as owners in the loop about the work we do, provide pictures after completing work and offer recommendations in relation to fixing issues and improving or maintaining the look and presentation of your property.
